Hello everyone!
This is a reminder that the Saturday after Labor Day (in September) is
our annual Anderson Family Reunion. This year, the Hopewell Methodist Church has decided to build a metal building to replace the shelter that granddaddy built. It's not known at this time if we will be using the new building...it's supposed to be finished, but I haven't heard any more about it.

This year will mark the 50th Anniversary of our Anderson Family Reunion at Hopewell Methodist Church near Glennville, Georgia. We invite you to come and fellowship together. We will start to gather at 4:00 and dinner will be served at 5:00 P.M.
This year we have asked Chatham Artillery BBQ, an award winning competition BBQ team, to cook barbecue pork and chicken for us. Please bring something to supplement the dinner and share with others. Plates, cups and utensils will be provided.
Following the dinner, we are having Edward Anderson's Southern Cross Memorial & Dedication. The ceremony will included uniformed re-enactors by Tattnall Invincibles Camp 154 Sons of Confederate Veterans and members of The Dixie Guards SCV Camp 1942. The Jesup Chapter of the United Daughters of Confederacy will also assist.
